Mr. Sturdevant is an accomplished author on the subjects of probate and estate law, including co-author of a chapter in the Missouri Bar Association's CLE Deskbook Missouri Litigation Settlements, "Settlements in Probate Court." He often speaks at various Bar Association and civic events, including the Missouri Bar Probate Annual Seminar and "Probate and Estate Administration" seminar of the University Missouri - Kansas City. Mr. Sturdevant was recently a recipient of the Presidential Award from the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and has served this Bar Association in a variety of ways. Mr. Sturdevant is highly involved in the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation (www.lewisandclark.org). He has served as National President. He has also served as the local President of the Missouri-Kansas RiverBend chapter (www.lewisandclarkkc.org) He is also a Past President of the Native Sons and Daughters of Greater Kansas City. He has served as chairs of: the downtown Kiwanis Club of Kansas City, the executive board of his neighborhood homes association and a local church. He and his wife are members of the North Cross Methodist Church in Kansas City, North. Mr. Sturdevant is also an avid music enthusiast and performer. |
